Nisha Pereira

Nisha’s passion for business and enterprise started early, and after completing a degree in law and commerce (marketing) and even dabbling in a few entrepreneurial projects herself, she decided to pursue a career advising clients across a number of industries.

Her background is primarily in contentious matters, and Nisha has worked on major New South Wales Supreme Court litigation defending one of a number of former directors of an agricultural holdings company from a breach of director’s duties claim brought by the receivers of an institutional bank. Nisha’s breadth of experience in litigious matters includes shareholders’ and partnership disputes, recovery proceedings and advising ASX listed and SME’s on contractual rights and obligations of parties in dispute.

Nisha’s move to CIE Legal was centred on a desire to expand her expertise in consumer and competition law. Nisha is dedicated to working with the team at CIE Legal to produce innovative and effective commercial solutions for their clients.
