Standing side-by-side in challenging times

Wrongful termination claim

Our partner, Lionel Appelboom, recently acted for a senior executive and shareholder disputing the termination of his consultancy and directorship with a software company. This wrongful termination claim was a substantial and hard-fought commercial litigation case, involving three and a half years in the County Court. It eventually settled a few days after the trial commenced.

Minimised costs

Throughout the course of this challenging case, Lionel acted pragmatically, advising, not just on the legal issues but in a practical sense, too. For example, he helped the client to minimise legal costs by identifying the areas of work he could carry-out himself. Our client describes Lionel as being “very conscious of the cost throughout”.
