Legal services have changed over the last few years. Innovation has delivered huge benefits and a more commercial approach has created a greater focus on efficiency. Unfortunately, at the same time, levels of decency and enjoyment seem to have dwindled.
But it needn’t be this way. We see decency and enjoyment as the foundations of an innovative, commercial, quality legal practice. That’s why we established CIE Legal: to put the ‘love’ back into law; to combine commerciality with a people-centric approach, to work with colleagues who support us and clients who value us.
Here at CIE Legal, we all have a great relationship with our clients and have a zest for working together. We love coming to work because we share the same values and support each other.
This isn’t just talk. It makes business sense too. We know that happy lawyers make better lawyers, and better lawyers make happy clients.
CIE Legal isn’t for everyone though. We’re a small team and everyone pitches in. So, you won’t like us if you thrive on hierarchies or want to mark out your own territory. Our lawyers are experts in particular areas, but are all capable of handling a broad range of legal challenges, so we won’t appeal to you if you want to do the same thing every day.
