Tiffany Lucas promoted to Partner

Tiffany’s promotion comes as the firm’s corporate team marks a significant period of growth, having advised on more than $400 million worth of transactions across 12 notable deals in the last 18 months. This promotion not only recognises Tiffany’s exceptional legal expertise but also reflects the firm’s strategic focus on expanding corporate and transactional capability to meet growing demand.

Tiffany specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and private client advisory. She brings extensive experience advising on complex transactions across a wide range of sectors, with more than $3 billion in deal value to date. Having worked in top-tier firms in both the US and Australia, Tiffany combines legal expertise with a strategic governance lens. She currently serves as Non-Executive Director of the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, President of the RCH Auxiliaries, and Chair of Arts Project Australia, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Tiffany has played a key role in the growth of CIE Legal’s corporate practice over the last year. The calibre of the team’s work reflects CIE Legal’s growing profile as a strategic legal partner for mid-market and high-growth businesses. It also signals a deliberate investment in building a partner-led corporate offering that combines technical strength with commercial pragmatism.

Tiffany’s contribution to the firm has been extraordinary,” said Managing Partner Peter George. “She brings precision to complex transactions, sharp insight to board-level issues, and is a key leader at the firm. Her promotion is the next step in the growth of our corporate practice, and we’re continuing to invest as our clients bring us increasingly strategic, high-value work.”

Commenting on her promotion, Tiffany said: I’m incredibly excited to join the partnership at CIE Legal. We work with fantastic clients on genuinely interesting and challenging matters, and we do it as a close-knit, collaborative team. The firm’s commitment to clear, commercial, no-nonsense advice really aligns with how I practise. I’m excited about this next chapter, both for me and for the corporate team.”

As CIE Legal continues to advise clients on critical transactions, corporate governance and strategic initiatives, Tiffany’s promotion strengthens the firm’s capability to deliver partner-led, commercially savvy advice across all stages of the business lifecycle.
